Welcome to Borde Du Lac Lodge. We have over 650' of shoreline and 45 acres of land at the northwest part of Benedict Lake in the beautiful Paul Bunyan State Forest. Our land area consists of tall pine, spruce, balsam and white birch trees and wildlife is everywhere! Our cabin areas are mowed and kept clean and neat. In addition to all the lovely trees, We have many varieties of wild flowers, and in their season, wild berries for your picking and eating pleasure.

Benedict Lake a is small and delightful spring fed lake, Its waters are always clean and clear. The shoreline has a very safe sandy beach with a gradual slope enabling you to enjoy your water activities. The lake is always suitable for water skiing. There is one dock for each two cabins so your boat is near your cabin. Benedict lake’s water flows by boat-able channel into Leech Lake, enabling you to explore, fish and sightsee over one-hundred twenty thousand acres of water and over six-hundred fifty miles of shoreline. You may fish for and expect to catch walleye, northern pike, black bass, pan fish and maybe a trophy size musky! The many ducks and loons will entertain you daily and you may be rewarded by the displays of the playful otters, soaring eagles or the industrious beavers.
Our cabins are clean, have excellent king or queen size beds, color TV, complete kitchens including microwave ovens, and are ultra-modern in livability, rustic in décor, spacious, about seventy-five feet from the lakeshore and well spaced from each other. Your picture windows afford a perfect view of the lake. Outside your cabin you will find a BBQ grill, a picnic table, lawn chairs, a freezer for your use, coin-op Laundromat and a unique fish cleaning house. There are 40 acres with nature walking trails and a lighted boardwalk at the waters edge in front of the cabins. |

We allow pets for a charge. Itasca Park, the origin of the Mississippi River is only twenty-five miles away. The city of Bemidji is twenty-eight miles. You can go by water or highway to the city of Walker. The city of Walker is eight miles away and offers a complete line of goods, services, and many great restaurants. Churches of all faith are nearby, along with pristine golf courses, public tennis courts, and also an airport.

We at the secluded, peaceful and beautiful Borde Du Lac Lodge want you to be our guest. Our business model is set up to accommodate seasonal rentals and some monthly rentals.
